Sabatini Building, 2nd floor, Room 206
In 1941 Picasso wrote this dramatic text, of key importance not only because of its allusions to historical events but also because of the cultural context in which it was presented. The reading took place at one of the literary soirees at the home of the Leiris brothers. Albert Camus was the director and the performance had an exceptional cast, including Michel Leiris, Raymond Queneau, Simone de Beauvoir, Jean- Paul Sartre and Dora Maar.
On this occasion, Spanish actors will perform a dramatized reading of Picasso's work in the rooms in which the Collection is exhibited.
