La isla de hidrógeno

The artistic team PSJM will present La Isla de Hidrógeno, a book in which a well-structured bunch of solid characters comes together in different organically related stories. PSJM, a duo formed by Cynthia Viera and Pablo San José based in Berlin, once again brings seemingly disparate spheres of culture into contact, combining philosophical, sociological and political utopian literature with entertainment narrative.

The novel La Isla de Hidrógeno follows a tradition begun by William Morris with his News from Nowhere, in which the artist and theoretician of the Arts and Crafts Movement committed himself to an ideal vision of society through narrative. It also incorporates aspects of Swedish crime fiction, which presents genuine Scandinavian dystopias where entertainment literature meets social criticism.

The authors of the book will be joined by Miguel Cereceda, José Luis Corazón and Jesús Carrillo.
