Isidro Blasco. Thinking About That Place

In conjunction with PhotoEspaña 2004 edition, the project for Espacio Uno reconstructs the apartment of the artist, true to size and with a deformed perspective. In addition to photographs, it also includes video images in which the people that inhabit the apartment do everyday chores in different rooms. The catalogue includes a text by Catherine Coleman that takes its title from a quote by Gordon Matta-Clark, ‘To convert a place into a state of mind...’ In addition, the text by Eurídice Arratia draws a parallel between Blasco and Georges Perec’s narrative.
