The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation supports projects and institutions that make art a driving force of citizenship, thereby developing a sensitive and critical gaze at the world and strengthening society’s social cohesion while respecting diversity at all times. In 2020, the Foundation and the Museo signed an Agreement for the patronage of MAR, a platform of research, archive and activation on cultural mediation and new forms of institutionalism. The aim is to contribute to blurring traditional boundaries between cultural organisations and civil society, with the understanding that artistic mediation can trigger a change of paradigm which in effect involves everyone in cultural life and the public sphere.
